Endless oppressive fog and suffocating darkness define Tragic Fantasy Visuals, a shader built for a frightening atmosphere rather than for pretty scenery. It needs Vibrant Visuals enabled in the video settings to show its effects.

Torches and other light sources give off only a minimal glow and cast long shadows, so forests, caves and structures all feel sinister. Water gets animated caustics and waves with a murky look, soft shadows add to the dread, and 77 light-emitting blocks have their own point-light colors. The pack includes 12 atmosphere profiles and 15 fog profiles, REINHARD tone mapping with 12 color-grading profiles, and per-biome tuning for 87 biomes.
