Hide and Seek in Minecraft is a game where players split into seekers and hiders. Hiders look for places to stay hidden, while seekers try to find them. Hiders get a short time to find a spot before the search begins. The game ends when all hiders are found (seekers win) or when time runs out (hiders win).

About This Map

This map is an updated version of hide and seek, based on the Hide and Seek: Farm map by Startpoul. His map brought a lot of fun to me and my friends, so I adapted it for newer Minecraft Bedrock versions. Thank you to Startpoul for the inspiration and joy his maps created!

What’s in the Game

• Roles: One player starts as the seeker, others are hiders. If a seeker hits a hider, they become a seeker.
• Game Phases:
  • Hiders get 30 seconds to hide.
  • During the seeking phase, hiders see a !!! warning and screen shake if a seeker is within 5 blocks.
  • The game ends when all hiders are found (seekers win) or time runs out (hiders win).
• Hints for Hiders:
  • Anvil Sound: a soft metallic clank.
  • Explosion Effect: a blast with particles and sound.
  • Lightning Strike: a bolt to distract seekers.

How It Works

Hints allow hiders to trick seekers, while the close-seeker warning adds tension. In the final moments, seekers get a speed boost, making the search more dynamic. After the game, everyone returns to the lobby, where winners and top players are shown: hiders by hint points, seekers by catches.
