Edge of Silence
A Hardcore Minecraft Bedrock Map
📖 Overview
You spawn on a desolate End island. Not floating in the void — standing on solid ground.
Directly ahead, 20–39 blocks away, looms a single End City. Inside it: Shulkers. Waiting.
No chest. No gear. No shelter. No help.
Your only objective is simple to say, brutal to accomplish:
Kill the Ender Dragon. Reach the Overworld.
This is hardcore survival from the void's edge.
🔥 Hardcore Rules
- Difficulty: Hard (locked)
- Health regeneration: Vanilla hardcore rules (only golden apples, potions, or beacons)
- One life only — death deletes the world
- No natural health regen from saturation (hardcore mechanic)

Phase 5 — Escape to the Overworld

- Victory: You are in the Overworld with whatever you earned
⚠️ Critical Notes (Bedrock Hardcore)
- Hardcore mode must be enabled in world settings (map is designed for it)
- Keep Inventory: OFF (true hardcore)
- Coordinates: Optional (recommended ON for navigation)
- Shulkers do not respawn — use their shells wisely
- End City size: Single tower + ship? No — just the city structure (vanilla generation)
- No chorus fruit guaranteed — check city chests
🧠 Hardcore Strategy Hints
First 60 seconds:
- Immediately locate the End City entrance
- Run. Do not look at Endermen.
- Enter the city before night cycles (void doesn't care, but Endermen roam)
Fighting Shulkers with no gear:
- Punch them — yes, bare fists work (slowly)
- Use walls for cover against their projectiles
- Levitation is death near the void — stay away from edges
Looting priority:
- Iron tools / weapon
- Food (any)
- Armor pieces
- Ender Pearls
- Bow + arrows (essential for crystals)
Dragon fight basics:
- Iron armor minimum recommended
- Bow for crystals on tall pillars
- Water bucket optional (prevents dragon knockback + Enderman aggro)
- Wait for dragon to perch on bedrock fountain to deal melee damage
