About This Pack
Adventure Hat is a simple resource pack that replaces the appearance of the Carved Pumpkin when worn on a player's head with a stylish adventurer's hat.
The goal of this pack is to make wearing a carved pumpkin feel more natural and visually appealing while preserving everything that makes the carved pumpkin useful in vanilla Minecraft.
Unlike many cosmetic packs, Adventure Hat does not add new items, recipes, behaviors, or gameplay mechanics. It simply changes the model that appears on your head when a carved pumpkin is equipped.
Whether you're exploring caves, building in Survival, or protecting yourself from Endermen, you can now do it with a little more style.
Features
- Replaces the worn Carved Pumpkin model with an Adventure Hat
- Keeps all vanilla Carved Pumpkin functionality
- Enderman protection still works
- Iron Golem and Snow Golem creation still works
- No gameplay changes
- Multiplayer friendly
- Lightweight resource pack
- Vanilla-friendly design
Vanilla Functionality Preserved
Adventure Hat only changes the visual appearance of the carved pumpkin when worn.
The following features remain unchanged:
- Endermen remain neutral when looking at them while wearing the hat
- Snow Golems can still be created
- Iron Golems can still be created
- Carved Pumpkins can still be placed normally
- Dispensers and other vanilla mechanics continue to work as expected
If it works with a normal carved pumpkin, it should work with Adventure Hat.

Known Bugs
As this is one of my first Minecraft resource pack projects, there is currently a bug that I have not been able to solve.
Item Rendering Issue
The Adventure Hat currently does not render correctly when held in the player's hand.
Instead of displaying as a normal item, the model tends to render as if it is already being worn on the player's head.
I experimented with multiple approaches and learned a lot through trial and error, but I was unable to find a complete solution.
If you know how to fix this issue or have experience with Bedrock item rendering, feel free to leave a comment and share your suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This project was created as a learning experience, and I would love to improve it further.

Thank you for downloading and trying Adventure Hat!
This pack was created while learning Minecraft Bedrock resource pack development through experimentation, research, and plenty of trial and error. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Have fun exploring your world in style! 🎩✨
