Gloamer

Copyright & Takedown — Gloamer

Updated 27 October 2026 · Effective with the first release, version 1.0 · Applies to the Gloamer app for iOS (bundle com.addonaut.gloamer)

What Gloamer shows, and what it hosts

Gloamer has a catalogue of horror add-ons for Minecraft Bedrock Edition made by other people. An item is in the catalogue only if one of three things is true, and its card says which:

Anything that fits none of the three is not shown at all. Every card carries the author's name and, where there is one, a link to the page where the author published the work. Items that use other companies' brand names in their title or description are left out. Files are delivered from our own storage or straight from CurseForge's file servers; the app hands the downloaded file to the iOS share sheet or to your own Minecraft and installs nothing.

If your work appears in the catalogue and you want it removed

You do not need a lawyer or a formal notice. Either:

A person reads every report within 48 hours. Because anyone can claim to be an author, we check before removing: write from the e-mail address shown on your author profile, or add a short phrase we give you to the project's description, or send a formal notice as described below. Once that is done we remove the item from the catalogue and delete any copy stored on our own servers, and we do not add it again. If you want all of your projects left out, including future ones, say so and we exclude your author profile as a whole. Removing an item from Gloamer does not affect your page on CurseForge — that stays under your control there.

If you turn third-party distribution off for a project on CurseForge, the item leaves the catalogue by itself at the next synchronisation, without a report.

Other reports

The same Report button takes reports of abusive or unsuitable content and of files that do not work. Hide author on a card removes everything by that author from your own view immediately; the list is kept on your device.

Formal notice (DMCA and equivalent laws)

To send a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act or an equivalent law, write to support@mcmodshub.com, addressed to the publisher, Alona Lashkul, and include:

  1. identification of the work you say is infringed;
  2. identification of the material in the Gloamer catalogue you want removed, with enough detail to find it (item name and, if you have it, the link);
  3. your contact details — name, address, e-mail;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

On a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material and delete any copy we host. We notify the person who supplied the material where we can identify them.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone number with consent to the jurisdiction of your local court. Unless the complainant tells us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringement and false claims

We remove content and stop showing authors and sources that are repeatedly the subject of valid notices. Knowingly false notices may carry liability under section 512(f) of the DMCA and similar provisions elsewhere.
